The Prophecy

Chapter 5

Emily's POV

I wake up and my room is dark. I turn over to check my phone, 5 missed calls and 3 messages from Aubrey.

*Where are you?*

*I hope you're ok... message me*

*I got your work that you missed today, I'll be dropping it off after school for you*

I jump out of bed and head down stairs. "Hey honey, you look much better, the color has returned to your face atleast". "I am feeling much better, thanks mom. Was Aubrey here?", "Yes Hon, she dropped off your work that you missed, such a good friend..." I hug my mom and take the work from her. It does not look like so much, I can definitely catch up.

After an hour I have completely caught up and decide to call Aubrey.

"She's alive!!!!" Aubrey jokes while answering the phone.

I giggle and explain to Aubrey what happened... she is glad that I am feeling better and that I will be back at school tomorrow.

"So are you still up for Friday?" Aubrey asks.

"Friday?"

"Where have you been hiding Emmy, it's the football game between the fighting pheonixes and the forest wolves..." she explains as if it's the biggest thing ever... well I guess in our town, it is pretty big.

"Oh yes... that... sure, I'm still in Aubs" I say.

"Yay, maybe you can meet a hot guy from Puyallup or something, who knows" she giggles. I can practically hear her wiggling her eyebrows.

After my conversation with Aubrey, I start feeling a little nervous about Fridays game, I don't even like football... why am I so nervous.

Before I know it the week is over and it is Friday night. Aubrey and I are walking towards the stands to watch the football game when Alexis and her minions stop us. "Oh look girls, we can't keep out the riff raff" and she pushes me while her minions push Aubrey. Aubrey tries to shove them back when two of the girls hold on to her and Alexis carries on shoving me. I trip over the curb and fall flat on my ass when someone grips my arm and helps me to my feet. I look up and see someone dressed in Forest Hill football attire helping me to my feet.

"Are you ok?" He asks me but im too shocked to say anything. "Is everything OK here?" Another guy dressed in the same attire asks. Alexis immediately starts flirting "Well hi there handsome, don't worry about these losers... we are just showing them where they belong" she laughs and her minions join her. Both guys look absolutely disgusted in her, "I was not talking to you, I was asking these two girls" he points to Aubrey and I, his voice full of authority and his aura powerful. Alexis looks shocked and they storm off.

"Thank you so much." I say to the guy who is still holding my arm. It seems like he is not ready to let go yet.
