The Prophecy

Chapter 13

Emily's POV

I slowly start to wake up and realize I am in my bedroom. I hear people talking down stairs. I hear quite a few voices. "She does not know, we kept her in the dark like you asked Alpha." I hear my dad ask. "Alpha?" I ask myself, who is this Alpha my parents are talking too and what are they talking about. Wait, where's Eric and Jake and Aubrey?

I jump out of bed and run down the stairs almost falling on my face. Eric rushes to my side and hugs me tight. Eric is here? In my house? He met my parents? I see Jake sitting on a couch with a shocked expression on his face, I see two people sitting next to him and my parents sitting on the double couch across from them. They stand up and walk towards me, "Honey we need to talk" My mom says as she takes my hand. I let go of Eric and look him in the eyes, "It's going to be ok" he mouths to me as I walk into the living room.

The two people stand up and smile at me warmly, they look like Jake, this must be his parents. "Honey this is Alpha Jack and Luna Alice" My dad says. "It's nice to meet you" I say shyly. Alpha and Luna? Jake is not making eye contact with me. I feel like I need to comfort him.

"Honey, we have some news for you and it might come as a shock" I'm starting to get nervous as my dad speaks. "Alpha... would you like to continue" he asks looking at Jake's dad. "Before we go into detail, I'm going to tell you a story. There is a prophecy about the moon goddess who blessed a couple with twins. The prophecy has stated that these twins are very powerful. People will want to take these twins away from their parents and raise them as evil to use their powers for their own gain. These twins can rule our kind should they rule together, they can either be great leaders that everyone loves and respects or they can become evil should the wrong person get their hands on them." He says.

"What does this have to do with me?" I ask this man. My head is starting to hurt again.

"And what do you mean our kind? Like human race?" I ask.
