Oh, Elara. I could see that he was easily manipulated. She was volatile too. She believed anything anyone told her. She related to sad stories. She was a people pleaser and would do anything to help anyone in need. Some were good attributes, but she couldn't discern when to use them.
I was going to help her use them. Yeah, I had sad stories and yes, it was true that her presence made me feel okay. But being here was enough for me to be okay. I just needed her inside this house and that was all.
