I stood from a distance, watching Rylan wait for me at the exact location he had promised to. He was serious about doing this escape thing with me.
"Hope I didn't waste your time," he said, walking towards me, and I shook my head, not at all.
"I'm glad you came," I said with a smile on my face. I was so happy he made it.
"If I didn't come, who would protect you?" He said, offering me a cute smirk and my heart fluttered. I couldn't believe I had a friend and one who was willing to run away with me.
"Thank you," I said, touching his arms and he smiled at me,
"Always at your service, it's an adventure, so there's nothing to think too much about," he said, making me chuckle. I hope it remained fun for him.
