Now that her friend, Rylan, was gone, leaving me all alone with Elara, there was more peace.
"Is he going to be gone for long?" Elara asked as she watched Rylan go down the mountain.
"The substances I asked him to get are not far away. He would see them easily once he followed the map correctly. " He cares about your health, so he won't stay too long," I told her.
She nodded. "Let us go in" I offered, stretching my hand for her to go inside my little hut. She went in and I followed her behind.
I felt like myself for years. Like the real Ash. No noise, no shadows, no madness. I was back to myself because Elara was there, and I would do anything to stay close to her.
