Elara's pov
We were safe. Rylan did it, he protected me, my heart couldn't stop pounding so loudly, filled with adrenaline that I could not calm down.
"Look, there's a castle up ahead, can you walk?" He asked and I nodded. I could walk, and I wasn't as scared as I was back then in the forest. Rylan helped me up as I held on to him. My whole legs still quivered, but I wasn't scared now.
The walk to the castle was very long, and from afar it looked almost normal, but getting there we realized there was something wrong, there was a large dark cloud hovering around the castle, which was weird, it looked deserted even.
