I wanted to scream at these grown men for picking up a fight with each other, but I couldn't. My cheek still felt sore from Kane's hit, and I was very stunned at the revelation I heard.
I only knew about Ashen. He revealed to me about the great child I was carrying, and then I knew that mine and this child's presence could make his madness leave forever.
But Kane? And then whoever this new man was? I knew nothing about their connection to my child. What was going on?
