“Hey Till, the guys are on their way and the photographer is here. We need to start getting you in your dress,” Zoey says, poking her head out the back door.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” I say, admiring the scene before me.
“It is and you’re going to make it more beautiful,” she replies, walking out to grab my hand and pull me in the house.
“Momma, you look so pretty,” Tessa says, wearing her sage green satin dress.
“And you are beautiful, sweet girl. Can you wait down here with Zoey while I go get my dress on?” I ask, kissing the top of her head gently. Tessa nods, running away to play on her iPad while I take myself back up the spiral staircase.
Maggie quickly helps me into my dress, zipping up the back slowly as the photographer gets the pictures I asked for. M
