Chapter 28 – Breakdown
Thia’s POV We heard Freddie’s Mum, Jenny and the boys return from their walk with Hallie. They cautiously came into the front room, where I had pulled myself away from Freddie reluctantly, but remained seated next to him, his arm was still wrapped around me. ‘I see things went okay…’ Jenny surmised, a small hopeful smile and glint in her eye. ‘We still have a lot to figure out, but yeah, I think we got through the important stuff’ Freddie spoke with confidence and gave me a little squeeze. Gabe and Zeke gave each other a look only brother’s could, when concerned about their sister ‘It’s okay guys, calm the looks, Freddie and Loreta are not dating!
