Chapter Three After lingering on the observation deck for a few more minutes, Gideon led me back to my room. The discarded hamburger patty looked very forlorn on its metal plate, but he went to it and carried it over to a slot that opened in the wall when he waved a hand in front of it. “Disposal unit,” he said briefly. Then he stepped over to the door I’d noted earlier and pressed his hand on the panel next to it. “Rest facilities.” I didn’t want to go any closer.
