Episode 6 : THE CONFESSION

Davi was currently in her position spying on Mr Samuel who was about leaving his office with his assistant. He was about entering his car when his phone rang and the person who phoned,asked him to meet at a certain location.

Davi saw that his face has slightly change and it was filled with that of fear, sadness and a little anger. She immediately hacked into his phone and saw that the number which phoned Mr Samuel earlier was a private number.

"Something is suspicious", she murmured. She tried phoning Adrianna but hers wasn't going through so she called Zaki instead.

Zaki who was busy with some paper works left everything he was doing and left the company when he got some news from Davi.

On getting to Davi's location,he asked about Adrianna but Davi answered with a negative reply. Davi who was currently going through Mr Samuel's phone saw that a certain location has just been sent to his phone. She showed it to Zaki and both hurriedly left and headed to that location " green valley. No 26"

"This is an abandoned property", Davi said when they got to that area. They saw Mr Samuel's car parked at a far end and then a black car by the side also. Zaki parked the car outside the building before going inside. But before going, he instructed Davi to keep an eye on the area and also try to phone Adrianna once more.

Two men were sitting at the opposite side of a room,wonderful h a bulb in the middle that was hardly reflecting around the big and spacious rooms. Mr Samuel's face was greatly seen at that moment but the other man's face was hardly seen because he was seated at were the light could hardly reach.

" Why did you call me here",Mr Samuel asked the man.

" I want us to become family ",The man stated as a matter of fact.

" What do you mean",Mr Samuel asked back looking a little confused.

" What else do I mean. I want Stuart to get married tot daughter Bianca",The man stated.

"That will never happen", Mr Samuel shouted angrily. His face red with anger with his hands clenched into a fist.

" Don't test my patience, Mr Dimitri. I can make things happen if I want them to. Just imagine what I did to my own brother Edward. I can also do the same to your family,beside I still have your wife locked in my basement",Mr James arrogantly said while stepping out of the dark and his face was finally in the open.

"Think about it Mr Samuel, I took Caleb away from his family when he was newly born at the hospital, since then Edward and Rebecca thought that Adrianna's twin brother died. I also used you to have them killed because I couldn't watch my baby brother become more famous and successful than me. I blackmailed you to send your trusted guard to kill them by using your wife as a hostage. I also made you and your son CEO of both the companies.... Do you think I'm a fool to do that??? huh.... so if you dare to betary me,I will tell it to the public that you were the one who killed my brother and his family. I do have evidence as well", Mr James confessed with a smug face and then he laughed at loud sending shivers down Mr Samuel's spine.

Mr Samuel stared at the man with fear. He remembered that day like the back of his hand. They had just returned from Adrianna's birthday party when his wife was suddenly kidnapped while he was in the bathroom and Stuart was in his room. He knew that his wife could not be carried away like that unless Mr James must have arranged someone at home to keep an eye on them. If his wife wasn't taken away,he wouldn't have listened to what the devil of a man said. He wouldn't have been threatened. His son has been looking for his mother secretly for a very long time but they couldn't find any clues. The worst of all was that he doesn't know if she is still alive or not but he promised himself, he won't let Me James get away with everything he has done.

Zaki who was standing at a corner after avoiding the guards stationed at the building was infact very shocked when he heard Mr James confession.

"How can a man be this cold hearted,even to his own brother. He killed his brother and his wife in cold blood and also took away their newly born child but what he never expected was that Adrianna escaped that night. The heart of a man is really cruel", Zaki thought feeling broken hearted.

" You will pay for everything you've done to my family ",He murmured before leaving the building unnoticed and then he left with Davi heading home. "How can Adrianna take in the things I found out today", he asked Davi with tears rolling down his eyes and lips pressed into straight lines.

Davi not knowing what to say only held his hand tightly while the other one was clenching the steering wheel. She has already listened to the voice note because Zaki recorded Mr James confession while he was hiding. She really felt a great sympathy for Adrianna. A girl who was supposed to enjoy the life of a princess was now out seeking revenge of her parents death. The car was dead silent as they drove home with each in their own grief and thought.

Mr James left with his bodyguards after his threat leaving only Mr Samuel in the building whose face was already pale and drained of colour.

Adrianna was with Stuart in his office,helping him to arrange some documents when Olivia walked in without knocking.

" Hey,Stuart darling",she called out sweetly.

Stuart was shocked and speechless, he stole a glance at Adrianna as he wondered what Olivia was doing in his office. Adrianna on the other hand muttered "show-off", as she continued with what she was doing not paying an attention at the person standing close to the mahogany table.

" What are you doing here",Stuart asked in his cold voice not at all pleased with her arrival.

"Oh.. come on....my dad sent me here to spend some time with you", she replied nonchalantly.

" I'm busy",he said annoyingly.

"then I can wait", Olivia replied back as she took a seat on the sofa not minding the cold shoulder he was giving her.

She crossed her legs and and then ordered Adrianna to get her something to drink. Adrianna on the other hand acted as if she didn't hear anybody talking.

" Hey I'm talking to you",Olivia scolded,walked up to her and threw away the already arranged documents on the floor. Stuart just sat there and watched everything unfold without doing a thing leaving Olivia to become more confident in what she was doing but she didn't notice his already clenched fist on the desk.

Adrianna stared coldly at her for a while before bending and picking up the documents which made Stuart smile as if he just saw what he wanted to see.

Adrianna picked up the documents and continued with what she was doing without sparing a glance at the already angry Olivia who was about to explode at any time.

"I said get me something to drink", she yelled causing her face to turn red because of her anger.

" Get it yourself. I don't work for you",Adrianna said still arranging documents without looking at the time bomb beside her as if she considered her a fool.

Olivia was about to ask Stuart to make the girl obey her but when she saw that he was the least bothered about her,she threw away the documents again. Stuart was already fed up with her arrogant attitude and was about to say something when a painful sound was heard.

Adrianna was already pissed off with the arrogant brat,she couldn't hold it in anymore. And when she threw the documents, she couldn't contain her anger anymore but to land a painful slap on Olivia's cheek. It was really painful causing Olivia's cheek to become red and swallow. Olivia's head became dizzying with the slap and her eyes reddened with tears rolling down.

"Get out", Adrianna ordered coldly. Olivia shivered at the coldest of her voice and ran away after embarrassing herself.

Adrianna started arranging back the documents without talking to Stuart. She was really angry because he couldn't do anything concerning that brat. She was about to yell at him too when she received a message.

" You are needed urgently ",Davi texted. Without thinking twice,she ran out of the office leaving Stuart in confusion.

" What's wrong with her,why did she run out like that. Did anything happen??? ",He continued to ask himself various questions as to why Adrianna ran out and she didn't even inform him before she left ad if he was invisible to her or as if he wasn't her boss anymore.
