The office door behind her slammed open. Griff marched out, a low growl in his throat. "Leave," he said firmly.
David looked at him and then at Alex. "I just..."
"Leave before I rip your arms off."
David took one more look at Alex before turning and leaving without another word.
Alex breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you."
Reggy looked at them curiously. "I don't know what happened there, but if you need him to stay away I'll make sure he doesn't lurk around here."
She smiled a thin, strained smile. "I appreciate that. He's not dangerous, just an asshole."
"Understood," Reggy replied with a stiff nod.
