Her heart pounded, and she looked around wildly for an escape. The only way out was a small door in the ceiling of the elevator, but she couldn't reach it nor could she pull herself up with her added pregnant belly. It was too late anyway, the door was opening. She could see snarled hands reaching around to grip the doors better. Her eyes followed the hands, up the arms to the shoulders and... the face. "David?" she gasped. "Wha...?" He looked half monster.
Once the doors were opened he went back to his normal, handsome self. "I let my wolf out just enough..." he said softly as he pulled her to himself.
"I didn't know you could let it out only part way..."
He shrugged. "I can and my pack could, if they were high ranking enough."
