Jessica's POV
After a month, I started work today, I was dropped off by Xavier as usual, I was surprised that there very few workers around when I was walking to the elevator.
I soon reached my destination and I came out from the elevator, the whole floor was quite and no one was around there, it was as if I came work on an off day,
"What is going on? Why isn't everyone here?"
I continued walking to my office to check files and call them on phone,I started walking faster in order to reach my office
"Welcome back!!!"
Someone shouted startling me, my heart sped up and I yelped loudly only to hear laughter,
"Did we startle you? Sorry, surprise!!"
I was still clutching my heart and bending over.
l looked up to see a big 'welcome back' banner, most of the company's workers, and my ass
