I watched the two patrol shifters walked away from my position to follow my decoy. My scent was well-masked, and I was wearing dark clothing to blend easier in the shadows. Carefully, I dashed from my hiding spot towards the dimly lit duplex. Stopping just under an open window, I checked the room first to see if it was empty, then jumped inside.
