Kamui slid across the blood-soaked grass groaning painfully. “Don’t listen to him Toya,” The immortal begged quietly, unable to move. “He’s twisting everything… even the truth.”
Toya had turned just in time to see Kamui go flying and heard his whispered plea but ignored it. “Just spit it out already,” Toya demanded, not caring that he was listening to the enemy. He wanted… no… he needed to know what it was Kamui didn’t want him to hear.
“The girl gave her innocence to the Lycan before her death,” Hyakuhei said with an evil smile. “She refused your love… your very existence. Her life, her innocence, her love went to the one you have decided to stand beside in an effort to protect her.”
Toya’s face fell in shock and he looked at Kyoko, his expression bordering on physical pain.
