"That would be nice, but I doubt it." I'd spent yesterday morning going shopping with Ayla for new clothes and shoes, and we'd run into some of the Moon Witches living in Coronis. They'd been so shocked by my appearance that I went to Celeste afterward to make sure she heard the news from me first. By the evening, it seemed like every single Moon Witch was coming by the cottage to ask me about my encounter with Selene and check out my new appearance. I couldn't blame them. Most of them had spent their entire lives praying to our goddess without receiving any indication she was listening at all. For her to not only speak to me but also grant my wish was completely unheard of, and I'm sure they were all wondering why she'd listened to me and not them. I wasn't sure either, to be honest. Et
