Liora’s pov “Who the hell are you and who gave you the right to touch my sister? Do they really let anyone in the vip’s table these days?” Selene clicked her tongue in frustration. I pulled my hand and broke free from his grasp. It seems Selene’s slap had sudden sobered him up. “You dare slap me, woman?! Don’t you know my father’s the one who owns the land you’re stepping on?” He replied furiously. “I don’t care if he owns the heaven and the earth. Nothing gives you the right to lay hands on other people. You deserve more than a slap but since I’m in a good mood I’ll let you off with that,” Selene interlock our fingers and decided to leave. “You t**t!” He said in rage and grabbed Selene by the throat. “You better start praying to whatever god you know because you’re not leaving here the same after embarrassing me like that.” He tightened his grip around her neck. The rage in his eyes was visible, he meant every word that came out of his mouth. It seems we’ve encountered a madman. He also has a few friends behind him enjoying the show. This could also turn into a big mess if it continues to escalate. I don’t like the idea of seeing Selene’s face in tomorrow’s headlines because of me. “You and your stripper sister better get ready to dance for my friends and I. This is going to be a long night for the both of us,” he grinned from teeth to teeth. I clenched my teeth together and kicked him directly on his groin. He cried in pain and fell to the ground. Before his friends could react, I took Selene and immediately exited the club. “What type of an ill managerial system does this club even have? How could a security guard be there watching all this go on without intervening? Disgusting!” Selene lamented. “I feel like going back there and giving the manager a piece of my mind.” What’s she going to do about it? This is a club, not a restaurant or a hotel. Of course it’s filled with degenerates and retards who wants to see a little bit of action. It probably helps them sleep well at night. “We didn’t even get to enjoy ourselves. Let’s just call it a night. Those retards are still probably searching for us. He got quite a grip on your neck, are you alright?” “With that wimpy little hands of his? He’s such a brat. He claimed that his father is the owner of this estate. Flaunting the fat wealth of another man forgetting he himself has nothing to his name unless he’s added to the will somehow. Useless!” Selene spat on the floor with a bitter expression on her face. We had no choice but to call it a night. Selene was angry, I was tired and the driver seems to like Selene’s music taste because he played it through out our ride home. Finally, the morning sun exchanging shifts with the moon. It’s morning and yet I’m still tired. Could this wearyness come as a result of last night? Or because I didn’t properly rest after returning from work? This has been going on for the about a month. I feel tired every morning… I immediately ran to the bathroom to throw up. I pulled my self closer to sit on the side of the bathtub. I might be coming down with some type of fever. I’ve been throwing up for endlessly every morning for a month, it’s exhausting my body, and yet I’m still putting on weight. What the hell could this even mean? I washed up the mess and took my bath before going downstairs. “Good morning, sleeping beauty. You didn’t wake up for our morning jog. I’m sorry for stressing you out last night. It was totally my fault, I forced you to go clubbing with me even though it was visible in your eyes how exhausted you were,” Selene apologized wuth puppy eyes. “There’s nothing to apologize for. Don’t assume my weariness is of the result of last night, do you know how many crazies I’ve had in one night? I’m feeling feverish. I’ve been throwing up and I’m always tired in the morning and at night. It’s really pissing me off.” “Good morning, Selene, Liora” Darius greeted as he enter the scene and dropped a warm kiss on Selene’s cheek, she replied with the same gesture and he sat down. Pancakes and Italian brand coffe was served this morning with a side of blue grapes and honey for toppings. “I suggest you visit our clinic and get checked up,” Selene replied. “When did this start?” “It’s been around for days. I can’t even recall when it started.” “Morning fatigue and constant throwing up. Kind of sound like you’re pregnant?” She let out a jesting laugh. My fork slipped from my fingers and clash with my plate, making a loud noise. And suddenly it started to make sense. I wasn’t the only one shocked by this hypothesis, it seems my partner in crime felt it as well because he choked on his food immediately he heard the p-word. “You’re so funny, Selene. Top notch humor,” Darius let out a nervous laugh. All I could do was stare at his nervous ass. He had worry written all over his face. We all laughed and put the topic behind us but I just couldn’t bear it anymore, so I decided to go to a nearby pharmacist. I was asked the symptoms I was experiencing, so I told the nurse in charge. “So you mean you’ve been throwing up for a month and getting inevitably tired every morning and evening? Are you sure all of this is correct?” She asked again just to be sure. “And yes, how could I forget…and I’ve also missed my period for the last two to three months. I’d really appreciate it if you get me medicine for that as well.” “Miss, are you listening to yourself at all? Stop beating around the bush and admit that you’re pregnant!” She exclaimed in frustration.
