Liora's pov

“ Listen to me selene please i am pleading with you, you won't feel the same way about this if you really understand what exactly happened my sister.”

She turned back and snapped.

“ How dare you call me sister? You know you actually are no different from the devil Liora.

Matter of fact, you are the devil. And I regret the day I decided to let you into my life!”

She cried uncontrollably now, clenching her fist and staring at me with the most disgusting look.

Ravenna came running from where she was.

“ Hey honey, take it easy, remember the baby!”

She rolled her eyes at Ravenna, “ you? You think you are any different than them? Really? You think you are in any way different from the both of them?

I f*****g called you my mother and yet you knew about this as far back as God knows, and chose to hide it just so you would score points against her?

God sees all!”

She stormed out, leaving Ravenna utterly speechless and shell shocked according to the way she stared at Selene's back.

“ No this cannot be happening!”

She yelled and turned to me.

“ You! I told you, didn't I?”

She hit the table hard, “ i thought I earned you about things like this.

As if i knew you will be the reason my daughters joy will be ruined for life.

Why can't you just accept your miserable white life and get the eyes of the husbands of others.

If only you were decent and had proper upbringing, who knows? Someone good might have come your way, but trust me you have nothing like that around you.

She also stormed and left, pausing only to eye Darius from head to toe.

“ You wicked scumbag!”

She spat on him and gave him a dirty slap across his face.

Darius sighed as the maids tried to clean him off and shoves them away.

“I have committed a huge sin, and a very huge one at that and as such i guess i deserve all the shaming i can get “

I still was on the ground, tears flowing freely from my eyes, as Darius came to try to talk to me.

“ Hey get up there is not really much that we can get done about this as it stands honestly.

We just have to hope that she stays in the right state of mind and sees to the safe delivery of that baby, and yours too.

I interrupted him, “ enough Darius! Enough! You hear me? Darius i f*****g said enough is enough.

I am done with your sorry ass, i am done with everything related to you, matter of fact i wish i called in sick the day you came to that f*****g night club.

I broke down in complete tears while he stepped back slowly shaking his head and walking away.

I took a last look at the room that I had started to get accustomed to and was close to calling home.

Glad i was able to get a taste of what true family love felt like from selene.

She actually treated me like a sister, just so unfortunate that I was not what she hoped I was.

“ Hey where are you headed too?”

I paused immediately, that was her voice.

Ravenna, she was calling from the stairs up.

Clenching my fists, the anger brewing from within, I slowly turned back, looking up to face her.

“ Ravenna.

I bet you are the happiest mother fucker on earth for the reason of having ruined the life of your daughter.

I hope you're happy now! Cause you know damn well what you did and why you did it!”

She chuckled, “ excuse me? Was I supposed to sit and fold my hands when information was brought to me about the man my daughter saw in the future who was in bed with some riff_raff like you.”

I nodded my head, slowly stepped back and left.

“ Yeah you should do just that.

Should have done it sooner honestly.

Late now but not too late, leave!”

I hastened my steps and got into the car.

Deep down I really wanted to have a private time with Selene, where I could express myself and tell her all the truth regarding the whole issue.

I stared at Darius as he watched the car leave, no struggle, no drama, his hand in his pocket.

I stared at the screen of my phone, I was tempted to place a call on her line but I had a lot of doubt on whether I should actually call her.

I finally gathered the courage to call her and I dialled it.

“ Hello, selene this is Loria. I need us to talk about this thing honestly this is a huge mistake i have made, and i accept it totally, but it was not totally my fault you know

I had no idea you were going to be my sister and that was your husband.”

The other end finally spiked up.

“ Hey just quit the crap already okay? You have said a whole damn lot of bullshit.

I wonder if you got r***d by him or maybe he blackmailed you, but no.

You clearly wanted to have your way with him and yeah you have gotten what the hell you wanted now what huh?

Now what? Don't you ever attempt to reach this line again.”

The call hung up, it was Ravenna who had picked the phone up.

Almost like she was anticipating the call from me.
