Chapter 48
Mark's POV
I'm woken up by an annoying beeping sound. At first it sounded far away but it kept getting louder and louder....with much difficulty, I finally opened my eyes. It was a bit blurry at first but it got clearer as I took in my surroundings... I looked to my left and saw a machine that looked to be monitoring my heart rate..... continuing to look around, I noticed familiar walls and furniture of mine and the twins room... Oh how I've missed this place .... wait how did I escape from Jase's clutches and get here?.... flashes hit me all at once, especially the one of Jase's blood splashing my face... Oh my God they killed him my heart rate starts increasing as I remembered the look on his face as he went down....
The heart monitor starts beeping loudly and the door slam
