Chapter 3

Marks POV

Jonah always loved picking me up so we head to school together... I have like 5 cars of my own of course my mom and dad made sure to spoil me on birthdays or when I pass a subject I would wake up to something new... I hardly drove myself either Jonah, my parents or one of my chauffeurs did..

I quickly wore black plain jeans a big oversized T-shirt and a hoodie and dark green Chuck Taylor’s and went down the stairs to the kitchen....

I found mom making pancakes, bacon and eggs and dad reading his daily newspaper...

“Morning cupcake” mom said smiling she’s always so cheerful in the mornings I don’t know how she does it ...

“Morning Mom and dad” I responded giving a small smile and taking a seat ...Mom serves my breakfast and places it in front of me. Dad gave a small smile of his own and a nod and continued reading and sipping his coffee..

“So is Jonah coming to pick you up?” Dad asked.. I look up from my plate and find him looking at me.

“When does he not” I respond he smiles and keeps reading they love Jonah like their own son I mean since his my only friend I guess they always felt thankful to him for befriending their son... They even became super close with Jonah’s parents the Joneses they own a big construction company that’s responsible for the awesome skyscrapers and big malls across America they also invested in real estate in short they are freaking billionaires and Jonah is also to be CEO when the time calls for it...

I hear Jonah’s car horn outside and I immediately take a huge gulp of my orange juice and kiss moms cheek saying my goodbyes and head for the door.

I find Pat short for Patrick our butler at the entrance holding the door open for me and my school bag I quickly thank him and head outside to find a matte black corvette... Of course he got a new toy..

I open the door and he smiles at me, showing his beautiful pearly whites that could blind a person...

“Hey suga” that name again sweet baby Jesus I stopped trying to get him to drop the name it’s hopeless with him.

“Hey J” I say smiling he immediately speeds out the drive way through the big black gates onto the main road...

“We aren’t picking up Alice today? I see you picked a two seater.” I asked Jonah Hmmm I’m guessing you guys are wondering who Alice is... Don’t worry I’ll get you up to speed Alice is Jonah’s girlfriend of one year... You see Jonah was your typical playboy jock and he stumbled upon Alice one afternoon during gym class, she never fell for his bad boy act, saw right through him so there you have it she’s the girl that tamed the wanna be bad boy...

“No suga Alice said one of her girls will pick her up” he says eyes still focused on the road. Alice actually really likes me she likes acting like my mother hen and she goes bonkers if she finds someone even looking at me wrong... So I guess besides Jonah I got Alice too although we aren’t that close.. The only person I trust is Jonah I do try to warm up to Alice for his sake I’d never want to make him chose between us I know he loves her.
