Chapter Four Elizabeth’s stomach began to heave as she read the note, but she wouldn’t allow it to overcome her this time. No, this time she would not be sick. She was much, much too angry. Fury over came her like storm. She let out a scream and lashed out at the roses staring at her, laughing at her stupidity for allowing this man anywhere near her. The flowers, vase and all, went flying to the floor, shattering with a satisfying crash. But it wasn’t enough. She wanted to do more, she wanted to hurt someone—preferably Lord Rogan himself.
