Chapter 25By morning, Nyles felt much better. Sadiq was already up when he woke, and when he made his way out of the tent, he was offered mint tea and a few dates. “Thanks.” Nyles nibbled on the fruit in between sips of tea. “I’m feeling much better. I don’t want to be a burden.” “Not at all.” Sadiq smiled. “But it’s good to know you’re improving. I’ll pack my tent away while you finish.” It didn’t take him long to break camp, and Nyles could only watch and admire the man’s economy of movement and effort.
