Chapter 29The bulk of the journey back to the palace would be aboard The Royal Sunglider. It would be Nyles’s first trip aboard such a ship. The vessel was constructed to sail across the oceans of sand. Despite the circumstances, he couldn’t help but feel a thrill of excitement. There’s even a port for her to dock outside the city. Riding aboard the craft was an amazing experience. Just like an ocean-borne ship, The Sunglider could be propelled by her steam engines. But for extended periods, the experienced crew made good use of desert winds and it seemed the vessel truly did glide over the sand.
