When Hannah felt someone is following her, she walked faster even she can feel her wounds in leg starting to throbbed.
The omega accidentally tripped with her crutches but before she fell on the ground, someone has bitten the back of her upper part of the dress to prevent the fall.
Hannah looked back and saw that familiar big black wolf and his powerful eyes. She felt somehow relieved that its not an attack by unknown wolf or wild animals but the feeling of tension was still there... It’s Michael who helped her. Hannah was thinking if he’s the one who was following her.
“Are you following me?”she bravely asked with a curious eyes.
The wolf ignored her question and just walked ahead of her. Hannah didn’t try hard to figure out that the alpha was heading straight towards her cabin. He’s walking her home.
“You don’t have to.” She whispered but enough for the sharp hearing sense of the alpha. The wolf just continued to ignore her.
Hannah and Michael walked in silence until they reached at the door of the omega’s cabin.
“Thank you for walking with me... and for the help earlier.” she said while looking at the wolf’s eyes. His orbs were shining and there’s something in his gaze which was hard to understand.
The wolf created a low growl before he turned his back and run until his black fur disappear with the dark surroundings.
The omega was left confused thinking what the alpha has meant for that behaviour.

After walking Hannah home, Michael run towards the hill. He reached his mother’s graveyard and sat down there. Sad memories flashes in his mind.
“Please Dad! The council and the other pack members are waiting outside.” Michael pleaded his dad.
Alpha Leandro just looked at him with a blank face...eyes were hollow, seems like the soul left his body already. The head alpha just continued drinking his wine.
Michael saw seven empty bottles scattered on the floor of his father’s room. His dad became an empty shell since her mother died six months ago.
“You can’t stay like this, my father.” The fifteen-year-old Michael sadly told to his father. “The whole pack are all worried because you’ve been hiding in this room for the past months. You even did not attend important pack meetings.”
“Since when do you have a say on this?!” The Head alpha said angrily. “Just go with your hunt training and leave me alone!”
“No father! I won’t leave you here alone...not when you are almost ruining yourself!” Michael can’t hold his frustrations against his father.
“Don’t talk to me like that. I’m still the Head Alpha of this pack so you must learn to obey my words. When I said leave, LEAVE!” the angry alpha shouted throwing his bottle of wine on the wall beside him. Some of the broken pieces scratched on his arms, drawing blood from his skin.
“Head Alpha? Look at yourself! Do you still consider yourself as the Head Alpha when all you do is sleep, drink alcohol and hide from your people? Don’t you know that the council are thinking that you’re now incapable of leading this pack?”
The Head Alpha stood from where he was sitting and yank his shirt collar. “I LOST MY MATE!!! Don’t you understand how hard is that for me? She’s my everything and now, she left us! What do you expect from me huh? To celebrate? To continue this fu****g life without her?”
The young alpha tried to pull away from his father’s hold. “How could I not understand how you feel, father? She’s my mother! I just lost my mother and it was so hard for me, too.” Michael’s eyes starting to water. The wall he built to hide and control his emotion started to fall into pieces.
“You’re not the only one who’s hurting. I love my mom as much as you love her as your mate. But it’s not the end of the world. I’m still here. Your people are still here.”
“I wish I’ll die now so I can be with your mom.”
Pain flashed on Michael’s face. “We need you as our Head Alpha. I need you as my father.” Tears now rolling off on his face.
The Head Alpha removed his hands from his collar, feeling burned and guilty from his words. He turned on his back on him. “Please son, give me more time. Just leave me for now...please.” he said with a tremble on his voice.
Michael felt like losing his hope. “If mom can see you right now, she will be sad and her soul won’t be at peace.”
He stepped out of his father’s room and went outside to talk to the council. As he expected, they did not accept it good.
That night, Michael shifted on his wolf and run up the hill. He put some flowers on his mother’s grave and laid down there.
“I miss you so much, mom.” he sadly speak.
“I hope you are happy now in paradise together with our Moon Goddess.”
“Mom, if you can talk to the Moon Goddess, please convince her to heal dad...to free him from unbearable pain. He is losing himself and I am afraid... I’m afraid that the time will come that I will lose my dad, too. Please mom, help us.” he begged.
The young alpha decided to sleep on his mother’s graveyard, tears dried on his cheeks. Before he closed his eyes, he witnessed how the moon glowed brightly and its light filled the entire village.
