After a quick kiss and wash up, Mr. Thorne and I parted ways. Then we met again in the meeting room where updates on the week’s tasks were reported.
I also got to meet Elias and he strangely reminded me of Director Hayes. His firm gaze showed his confidence and he didn’t speak a lot. Even when I went to meet him to discuss how I could be of help, all he said was four lines, ‘Just do it well.’
And I was there like, ‘Do what well?’
He walked away and I didn’t get a response.
Anyway, I took that as a sign to return to my pending work. Thankfully, Mr. Thorne stepped out with his bodyguard so I wasn’t too distracted. The only thing that distracted me was how my body kept recalling how he kissed me down there.
Then, lunch time came. And as planned, Kaelen and I went for lunch
