The next morning found everyone getting ready for the wedding. After Gunner arrived, Silas took his clothes and went to Jamie’s house to get ready. April had brought her clothes and came with her mother to May’s house. Autumn and Violet helped all the ladies fix their hair and then fixed each other’s hair. Serin helped Gus and Stan get ready, and Shala provided breakfast and coffee for anyone who asked for it. May and April were too nervous to eat. They were afraid to drink coffee.
