Chapter Nine – The TrantersIt was a common sight amongst the circus folk to see two young children helping their father with his work. The boys in question were Dominic and Damon Tranter, a pair of rough and ready brothers who were always getting up to mischief with their wild shenanigans. Their father, Don, toiled under the direction of Jake Collins and classed himself as an all-rounder, that being that he was willing to labour, repair and replace anything at all that needed attending to. The boys were well-behaved enough when there were jobs for them to do but unfortunately they became bored easily, as young boys do, and it was at that point when the pranks began.
