The Danger She Carries

A lady in a black knee-length mermaid dress, wearing a sparkling emerald necklace, and a big floppy black hat with an intimidating aura, walked towards a now shivering woman.

The woman stopped taking steps back when she was cornered on a dark side of the street. The woman in black stares directly into the woman's eyes and smirked. Her finger's move closer to the woman's ear and snapped it.

"Listen woman. You will remember all the sin you made, and it will keep haunting you forever for the rest of your life. You can't escape nor find a way to stop it. This is now your fate" She enchantingly said and turned her back.

The woman in black starts to walk away with satisfaction written all over her face. Before anyone could see her, her outfit magically change into a casual one – hiding who she really was.

While the woman was left on the street starts hallucinating things. Her mind kept repeating the memories of her committing all the sins she made. The memories flashed continuously like a movie on her mind that soon caused her to scream.

Not on a long distance the woman who made her like that smirked as she hears the scream.

"Satisfying" Asteria mumbled and kept walking and blends in the crowd of people on the busy street.

It's 9pm now and her work time just ended. That was her last mission, to punish that woman.

She took her phone out of her bag and checked the time. After checking she decided to eat first before going home. She entered a restaurant and ordered a steak with a glass of wine.

Asteria feels like she needed to celebrate after she nailed all of her missions today – especially the recent one. It was one of her best mission because she thinks how intimidating and cool she was while doing that.

She stopped eating when her phone notified a text. When Asteria opened it, she almost threw her phone off out of annoyance. It was another mission but luckily it was just a warning and it’s not urgent so she doesn't need to work her a*s off.

After paying her bill, she walked out of the restaurant when suddenly a man fully covered bumped into her caused her to fall. The man didn't even bother to ask here if she's okay and just walk towards a table. She grabbed her bag and looked at the man. She gave the man a sharp look but he looked unbothered and bored while looking directly in her eyes. Because of that, Asteria got more annoyed and decided to go back home.

Next day...

Before her work ends, she decided to finish her mission given yesterday. She starts to follow a man heading to the rooftop of a building. The man turned his head back as if he feels Asteria's presence but she immediately teleported - not on a long distance – in front of the man. When the man didn't see anyone on his back, he shifted his gazed facing now Asteria's direction and he was startled when he saw her standing in front of him.

Asteria takes steps towards the man who was left dumbfounded. Her outfit magically changed into the black dress and hat that cause the man to feel the fear against her. She smirked and gave the man sharp glare. "Nice to see you again" She intimidatingly said. It was the man who bumped at her yesterday at the restaurant.

“What are you doing here? A-are you following me?”  The man shouted while trembling.

"I'm here to give you your punishment" She simply replied.

The man suddenly grabs his wallet and pick an ATM card out of it. His hands were shaking as he gave it to Asteria.

"Here t-take this, it’s your card right? Just leave me alone" The man’s voice cracked.

"Silly human. I don't need that though it has millions in it, you can have it actually. " She said arrogantly. "I'm here to finish my mission and its more likely mean to give you a punishment" She teasingly said as he walks closer to him.

Flashback…

New mission,

Man in black, a thief and serial killer. You will come across at him any moment now.

After paying her bill, she walked out of the restaurant when a man fully covered bumped into her cause her to fall. She smirked the moment she falls knowing the man committed another sin again. He took her ATM card.

End of Flashback…

The man climbed to the parapet wall of the rooftop with the thought of escaping from Asteria. Although the man was scared, he still chose to jump and waited for his death. After a few minutes, he opens his eyes and found himself floating in the air. 

"That is not your fate" The moment Asteria spoke, the man slowly landed in front of her.

She stared directly into his eyes and again moved her hand near his ears and snapped her fingers.

"Listen human. You made a lot of sin and those sins will keep haunting you forever. You can't escape nor find a way to stop it. You can't have peace until your death. This is now your fate." She enchantingly said and walked away.

"Mission accomplished" She mumbled once again and smirked.
