The Power She Holds

After that scene - as usual Asteria made her way out of that. Her dress magically changed back into what she's wearing before. She headed straight to the ground floor of the hotel by teleportation and again blends into the crowd.

She plans how to spend her day productively on her mind. After a minute of thinking, not any single though formed on her mind and she ended up strolling around to observe humans. After a minute of walking without any direction, she decided to go on a rooftop of a cafe and sat on the parapet wall. Sitting there gave her the perfect view for the busy road and the thought of getting interrupted annoyed her so she made herself invisible.  

She turned her head into the entrance of the rooftop when she smelled a human going to the rooftop. When the man set his foot to the rooftop, he directly went on the table where Asteria's next to. Good thing Asteria is now invisible to humans so he can't see nor bother her. After observing the man for a little while, she turned her sight to the busy road again.

Soon enough, a waiter come up and ask the man for his orders and what the man asked after ordering shocked Asteria that it made her stare at him again.

"Good afternoon sir, may I take your order?" The waiter asked the man.

"I'll have an Ice Latte and a Peanut Butter Banana Waffle please" The man replied and the waiter nod as he writes down the order of the man.

"I'll be right back with your order sir" The waiter politely stated and took his steps to come down when the man stopped him to ask something.

"Excuse me, I would like to ask if…" The man spoke that catches the attention of the waiter.

"Yes sir?" The waiter politely responded.

"Does your cafe encounters something strange here on your rooftop?" He said out of curiosity.

"Nothing sir, is there any problem sir?" The waiter replied respectfully but there is a hint on his eyes that he thinks the man is fooling him.

"Uhm it’s nothing, It’s fine. Thank you" The man answered and the waiter nodded as a response.

Once the waiter gets down, the man stood and acts to find something. He walks around the rooftop back and forth that made Asteria look to him weirdly. When the man mumbled something, it made her look at him like he’s a total psychopath.

"Why do I feel someone's here with me" Then he suddenly shifted his gaze exactly where Asteria is and started to walk towards her. Asteria, on the other hand, stared at him nonchalantly.

Though he can’t see her, he stretches his hands trying to find Asteria. The moment he lifted his hands, Asteria touched it with her own hands that made the man frightened and cause Asteria to smirked. After a while, the man didn’t even flinch a little that made Asteria stand.

When Asteria couldn’t take it anymore, she leaned on the man and said something. "Hey" She whispered near the right ear of the man and it gave him goosebumps. Asteria can feel how nervous and terrified the man in front of her right now and she's enjoying it.

She slowly put her hands down and walked behind the man. The man stayed still as if someone’s holding him that’s preventing him to move even an inch. While Asteria holding her laugh looking at the froze man.

She turned her eyes into a b****y red as soon as he looked back that made him scared to death. He took steps backward while Asteria kept on staring at him with her b****y red eyes. They both didn't notice that the man is reaches the parapet wall and about to lose his balance. When Asteria saw him losing his balance, she tries to grab him by his hands but he already starts to fall.

Asteria has no choice but to teleport and hugged him mid-air in order to save him from falling, then once again teleported back to the rooftop still hugging the man. The man was still in shock that his face is so pale.

"You okay?" Asteria asked and releases him from the hug. She tried to have an eye contact with the him but the man didn't even blink an eye. She snapped her fingers right in front on the mans face and with that she gets his attention.

"What are you? Are you even a human?" He asked her almost whisper.

"Glad you're okay and to answer your question - no I’m not a human honey" Then she winked at him wearing a playful smile.

"Then what are you? H-how did you do those things?" He asked again still confused.

"Just take your sit babe, any minute now the waiter will open that door and he can't see me" Then she leads him to sit on the tabled where he sits before. As soon as he sits, she lowered her head leveled to his face and said "Don't be too curious darling, knowing me isn’t a luck, it’s a nightmare" And gave him a playful wink.

"See you around, and act like nothing happened or you'll face the consequences" After saying that she walks towards the door of the rooftop, opens it and uses it magically to get back home immediately.

The man was left curious and feeling strange. When the waiter come up to serve his order, he asked him if he see that woman but the waiter answered that he didn't see any woman going down from the rooftop. It made him more curious about her and thought of finding her despite of what she said.

Meanwhile Asteria remembered the whole thing and smirked. The cafe was only three story high but she still need to save the man so she can avoid herself from the punishment of breaking the rules. As he continues to think about it, she burst into laughter remembering how terrified and scared the man was and at some point she feels sorry for him.
