More Than Friends

Chapter 4

Alyssa POV

Today was the best day ever! The most popular girl in the school Isabella invited Anthony and I to a party! I honestly can't wait! It's going to be on Saturday and she said to bring a partner. Anthony's bringing his girlfriend Alec and I'm bringing Isaiah.

Isaiah and I have been friends since 6th grade and I know that he's had a crush on me. He always gets nervous and is a goody two shoes in my opinion. I remember one time in 8th grade just a year ago he gave me a note trying to reenact Check Yes or No by George Strait. He said that he'd come to the party, let's just hope he knows that it's just as friends. I mean I don’t plan on doing anything stupid, but I know that I can always call my friend Cody. That poor kid stays locked up in his house because of his parents most of the time. The only reason he has a car is because his grandpa left it in his will that it should go to Cody and not his parents. Cody’s parents are fond of me and when I say fond I mean that they tried to bribe me to go out with Cody. I calmly rejected their offer, but they still tried to set me up with him.

The outfit that I decided to wear is a blood red halter top with black leather pants and knee high, heeled boots. My hair was done up in a half ponytail and I straightened the bottom portion of my hair out which took forever. I did some black eyeliner, mascara, and a rose lipstick. My complexion was naturally good so I never wear foundation or concealer. I was looking hot.
