Inside a parked car, a short distance from where Vanessa was, Dante clenched his fists with restrained fury. His eyes, dark and filled with anger, had followed every movement of his brother Donatello and Vanessa. Despite trying hard, he couldn’t get her out of his mind. So, every now and then, he would follow her just to see her for a moment, though afterwards the harsh reality would hit him and he would reproach himself for his behavior, for his lack of will to forget and not see Vanessa anymore. A sense of betrayal overcame him as he watched the scene, feeling as if the world was crumbling around him. "Why Vanessa?" he muttered through clenched teeth, his words laden with contempt and bitterness. He couldn’t bear the idea that Donatello was involved with Vanessa, the woman he loved.
