Pregnant

Evenus couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could he have been so foolish and trusting? Katrina, upon seeing his shocked expression, seemed to be genuinely enjoying the situation. "Oh, Evenus! I'm so sorry; I assure you I was being careful. That's why I didn't panic when the c****m broke. I don't know what went wrong. Having a child is not in my plans; I promise I've only been with you." The man sighed deeply, then fell completely silent, pondering what he had just heard. For years, he had prevented his conquests from having children he didn't desire, but he couldn't understand what was happening with Angelina. He had tried to get her out of his head without success. "I don't know what to say to this unexpected news. I need to process it." After managing to respond, he left the apartment almost running. Katrina began to laugh out loud as soon as the man disappeared from her sight. She had been holding back, confident that Evenus would be gone for some time. Now, she would set the next part of her plan in motion. Days later, she meticulously dressed herself, feeling satisfied with the result as she looked in the mirror. She had chosen a sexy outfit without crossing into vulgarity. A long silk dress in an oyster color with a high neck gave her a sophisticated look. Sleeveless, with a completely open back, the neckline reached down to her waist, just where the hips began. The thin fabric perfectly accentuated the voluptuous shape of her body. She wore a high hairstyle to showcase the daring neckline, applied light makeup, and put on heels. As she descended, a man awaited her—one of Evenus's business partners she had approached with a pretext. They would go together to an important meeting where all the partners of Evenus's company would be present. The man smiled as he cheerfully chatted with some of his associates, his newlywed wife by his side. He was sipping his drink when he saw his partner enter with a beautiful redhead on his arm. Startled, he accidentally spit out his drink on his wife. "Evenus! Be more careful; you've ruined my dress. I'll be right back; I'll go to the restroom to try to fix this." Although Evenus hadn't done it intentionally, this served to get rid of her for a moment. He quickly apologized to his companions and approached the newcomers, pretending to courteously welcome them, though inside he was furious. "Welcome," he said, gritting his teeth to force out friendly words. "Good evening, my friend. You know I wouldn't miss any of your annual gatherings." "Friend, you know it's a pleasure to have you. And who is your beautiful companion?" "She's a friend, Angelina; this is Evenus." "Pleased to meet you," Katrina flashed a flirtatious smile, then extended her hand to Evenus, who immediately took it and planted a kiss. "Friend, I think you should go greet Mr. Henford; he's sitting at that table with some of our partners. He's interested in investing in the industry and might invest with us. Maybe you can convince him to invest in your company." "I'll head over there right away. Come on, Angelina." "Leave this poor girl; she'll be bored to death with those old folks. You go; I'll take her to the other room to introduce her to some of our partners' wives." "Thanks, my friend. Angelina, I'll find you later." The redhead smiled at the man, immediately taken by the arm by Evenus, and led to another area. They walked discreetly to avoid drawing attention. Upon reaching the hallway connecting to the other room, he guided her towards the restroom in the middle. "What the hell is he up to? What are you doing with another man?" "Evenus, I can't stand this jealousy scene. You left me standing as soon as you found out I'm pregnant with your child, and I didn't come here for that. I met him some time ago, and he invited me to the event. He told me I could find investors for my project here." Evenus agreed with that; indeed, there was a place where investors could be found, and it was at that gathering, as it was organized for that purpose. "You don't know what I felt seeing you with him. I felt like dying of jealousy." He said as he dangerously approached her. Katrina stepped back, finding herself trapped against the wall. "Let me go, Evenus. I know the news I gave you will make you forget about me immediately." "Angelina, forgetting you is impossible. I'm just shocked, as you know, I am married." "But you said you don't love her, that you don't want to be with her." "And I haven't lied about that, but having a child before divorcing would be a scandal, especially because it's not with the woman I'm married to." "Don't worry; I'll leave right now and try not to cross paths with you again anywhere." Katrina pretended to be on the verge of tears. Evenus seemed unable to bear seeing her in that state. He pulled her towards him and then kissed her passionately. She responded immediately. "You can't leave me, and I can't leave you. We belong to each other. I just ask you to give me some time, especially to prevent my wife from finding out." "Okay, Evenus. I'll know how to wait for you." Katrina tried to leave, but Evenus had no intention of letting her go so easily. Her outfit made her look too sexy, and that suddenly triggered his instincts. ! He began kissing the girl's neck, skillfully lowering the top part of her dress, then removing the cups covering her breasts. He started kissing them eagerly, completely engrossed in the moment, when suddenly, in the hallway very close to the door, he heard a voice he knew perfectly well. "Have you seen Evenus?" "No, friend, we were in the lounge, and he hasn't come that way." "I'll look for him; I'm worried. Lately, he's been acting very strange. Perhaps he's not feeling well and didn't want to bother me." "We'll help you look for him." "Damn!" the man said, quickly distancing himself from Katrina. "I think we'll have to postpone this for another time." "Well, for someone in such a troubled relationship, she seems very concerned about you," he had to pretend to feel jealous. "No, darling, she's just doing it for appearances; that's how she is. I'll leave first; wait a few minutes and then exit." "What if someone sees me?" "Say you were looking for the bathroom, as simple as that." "Alright." "Don't look for me; I'll go to your apartment." Katrina was surprised at the skill that unfaithful men had in lying; it seemed innate in them. Evenus left immediately, fortunately, no one was passing by at that moment. Katrina adjusted her dress and left minutes later; she didn't want anyone to notice and risk being confronted by the women. Women of the upper class could tear each other apart, speaking ill of one another behind their backs, but as soon as a husband was unfaithful to one of them, they tended to unite, becoming ruthless witches. When the girl left, two women were passing by, looking at her strangely. "Sorry, I'm looking for the bathroom." ! "Oh, dear, it's the door at the end of the hallway." "Thank you," she replied with one of her best smiles, of course, rehearsed. She had to enter the bathroom under the curious gaze of the women. "I hadn't seen that girl around here." "Me neither. If she doesn't know the place, it's logical she got lost." The two women walked away while wondering who this beautiful redhead was. Upon returning to the lounge, Katrina saw Evenus chatting with a group of men, his arm comfortably around his wife's waist. He looked very at ease embracing her. That didn't stop Evenus from continuing to watch Katrina as she passed by. She gave him a flirtatious wink before continuing her way. The brazen man smiled, quickly directing his gaze elsewhere. The Coldwell sisters only accepted jobs where the targets were attractive men. It wasn't about suffering; they liked to enjoy themselves while carrying out their mission. Fun was guaranteed; hidden behind their great beauty was a cold heart, shaped by their training. Katrina pretended to feel unwell, bid farewell to her companion, he pretended to accompany her, and she only agreed to let him escort her to the car so that the driver could take her. "Go back to the party. Don't let those investors slip away, or you'll have to wait a whole year to catch them." "What a shame with you, beautiful, but you're right. Today, a golden opportunity has presented itself." "Well, make the most of it. We'll talk another day." The girl bid farewell politely, extending her hand, while in the distance, Evenus didn't miss a detail of their parting, smiling with satisfaction as he observed their courteous exchange. Meanwhile, in Vane's apartment, Dina had insisted on getting together to watch some movies. As Vane was still at Dante's place, the couple had to see each other daily outside of work. Dante was sitting on the couch, his arm draped over Vane's shoulders. He noticed that pretending to be a couple was becoming easier for both of them. Darius had also had to make frequent appearances. Dina wasn't entirely indifferent to him either. On that day, he had feigned an emergency to leave early. "My sister is coming to visit me," Vane said. Tanya had insisted on staying with her for a few days. The other girls were still traveling, and feeling exhausted, she decided to return earlier. She didn't want her grandmother and aunts to find out; they would immediately assign her a new job. She wanted to rest a few more days before going back to wooing another man. From the start, she didn't feel comfortable having to endure them with their exaggerated gallantries, huge egos, and insatiable desire to mate all the time. She couldn't understand why they couldn't make an effort to control their hormones; clearly, very few neurons were at work. Their hands seemed like tentacles exploring everywhere when they caressed her body. She didn't enjoy it much, although she knew how to fake it perfectly in front of them. An hour later, the doorbell of the apartment rang insistently. Dante reluctantly got up to answer it. When he opened the door to complain about the lack of decency when ringing a doorbell, he found a beautiful girl, very similar to Vanessa. He realized she must be the sister she had mentioned moments earlier. "Hello, I am..." "I know, Vanessa's sister. Come in," Dante said, stepping aside to let the girl in. "Sister!" Vanessa exclaimed, excited to know that Tanya would spend some days with her. The two girls hugged warmly, and Dante stood to the side. "Look, he's my fiancé," Vanessa said, addressing Tanya. "So, you're the famous Dante. She talks about you all the time, actually." Dante fixed his intense gaze on Vane, and she blushed instantly. "This is my sister, Dina." "Hello," Dina got up from where she was sitting to greet the newcomer, extending her hand. As they shook hands, Tanya felt an electric current running through her, and the same was felt by the other girl. They stood still for a moment, locking eyes with each other.
