I met Laysa Grey the old-fashioned way, at the lavish wedding of a crime boss’s daughter.
The crime boss in question, Anderson Kain, is long-dead now, the victim of an explosive-decompression incident. (Terrance, the man getting married that day to Bodelia, Anderson’s youngest of two daughters, swears the fatal event was purely accidental. Since he was the only other person there at the time and is now boss in his father-in-law’s place, I guess we’ll have to take his word for it.)
