Landon had been avoiding her. It had been three days since his mother fell sick and her health had not been improving. She also had yet to wake from her slumber. Evangeline could understand his concern because she was just as worried, but it was making her feel a little lonely. Since his duties were also keeping him busy, she had not seen him.
