After dinner, Landon escorted her to his room where she had already insured some of her clothes were waiting for tonight and tomorrow. Of course, she had been embarrassed when he asked her to his chambers, but she had also missed his touch. Her first time was the last time they had been able to share his bed since he had been busy attempting to make up for what he had missed that day. Evangeline had done her best to help with the paperwork that she was allowed, but he still had a lot of tasks she was unable to complete as his lover.
