The single-worded question makes Trent flinch, looking as though he would very much like the run out the door and escape from the conversation entirely. That is what Joshua wants him to do too. It is not often that their wants align so perfectly. Joshua does not normally see eye-to-eye with the man, who is in charge of the HR department.
He is self-aware enough to know his faults. His strength lies in investing in the right businesses and putting money in all the right places, not in Human Resources. He does not particularly enjoys another person's company, especially since they have so much trouble keeping up with him.
