I walk to our apartments to see how my mother is doing but she's not there. I assume that she is still with Drusilla, and as tough as tonight was, I am glad that she seems to have at least one friend. I am glad that they have each other in this wicked place, someone that they can trust and depend on. I don't imagine that the events of tonight's dinner will work in Minerva's favour. She was so confident in her position here, so self-assured that she never stopped to think that someone like my mother could make that all crumble down so quickly. If I can prove that Caspian's poisoning was the doing of Minerva or one of her children, then perhaps my father will banish them from the Palace.
