I stop my movements with Konan, my heart picking up its pace as I look at Caspian. He isn't looking at me however, he is looking at Konan with an intense stare. Konan doesn't seem bothered, staring back with as much fierceness. There is a silent war going on right now, the tension between these two men too much for me to endure.  "Thank you for the dance, Konan." I utter, releasing myself from his hold.  My words break apart their staring contest. Konan looks disappointed while Caspian wears a smug grin. I link arms with Caspian and walk away from Konan.
