Dahlia POV

I woke up feeling the morning light penetrating through the curtains.I went to the bathroom to do my morning routine.As I was looking on the mirror,the reality of everything that happened yesterday hit me again.I guess sleeping made me thought that it was just a dream.I finished everything and went to my wardrobe.I wore black shorts and a sweater.Since am staying indoors i decided to go with something comfy.

As i was going to the dinning table i heard my best friends voice arguing.Gosh this two never stop.But i have to tell them.Here goes nothing.

"Guys am getting married."Silence.Pure silence is all I git.Matt looked at me like am crazy.Then Lily started laughing,once she saw the seriousness on my face she looked worried."Dahlia? are you okay?? do i have to call a doctor for you? oh my gosh my babygirl is going crazy.Matt you have to look for the best psychiatrist."Lily came and started touching me to see if am okay."Guys am not sick.Am telling the truth."

And then i told them everything from start to last."Wait a minute, who is the man you're getting married to?" Lily asked me."Alexander Black.Why?" "Oh my babygirl he's the eligible bachelor in the world.He owns everything.He's the CEO of the Black Cooperation.oh my you've hit a jackpot." What! I didn't know Alex was that much wealthy.I knew his grandparents were rich but not that.But anyways i don't care about his wealth." Lily i don't care about his money.you know me." " Yes babes."

"Lia? Are you sure of sacrificing everything your dreams,visions for this marriage?" Matt asked.I started to remember yesterday when I talked to granny.

(Flashback)

I was standing in the balcony when granny approached me." granny you're here?" " Yes child.I want you to marry Alex.Don't deny this marriage please.Do it for me." " But why granny? I have never seen Alexander in my whole life,we don't love each other.Why should I marry someone i know nothing about??" " Child,am diagnosed with stage four colon cancer." " WHAT!!" "Yes.Iam dying.I just want to see my grandson married before I die.i want to see him changed from his careless lifestyle, and i know you're the perfect woman for him." " Have you told Grandpa and Alex?" " No.And i don't want anyone else knowing.please keep this as a secret between me and you." " But why grandma?They are your family they have to know. " "No,i don't want them to worry about me.I want to spend my remaining days with them without them worrying about me.Please do this for this sick old lady." " ok.i will do it." " Thank you child."

Am sorry guys I can't tell you the truth.I hope someday if you find out the truth you'll forgive me.This isn't what i want, But if sacrificing mydreams will make granny last days happy,then am willing to do it.
