“Vivian, are you at the hospital? I… I can’t make it back right now. I’m shooting a drama in S City and the schedule’s super tight…” Daphne’s tone was full of forced guilt.
Vivian glanced at the angry bulge of a vein pulsing on Richard’s forehead and gave a cold smirk. “Yeah, I’m at the hospital. But turns out I’m not their biological kid. Blood types don’t match.”
