Ethan froze for a couple seconds, then it clicked—Mr. Brooks wanted him to download that app!
"I’ll do it right now," he quickly said, snatching the phone and rushing to install the app.
He then located the second half of the book, downloaded it in a flash, and respectfully handed the phone back to Alexander.
"You can leave now," Alexander said without glancing up, fully focused on the tense ending of the first half.
"...Yes, sir." Ethan turned around, quietly wiped the sweat off his forehead, and slipped out of the study.
Once Ethan was gone, Alexander stayed completely absorbed in the screen.
