Álvaro's POV:
"Are we gonna visit home soon Al?", Araxely asked her brother as she laid their blankets at the beach.
The two siblings are always in a different city every month, staying in hotels.
They don't have any stable home. They just wander around the world extorting money from the rich.
Of course they use their insanely extreme visuals for it and it always works.
The two haven't been in their hometown, Bailey since their parents died 3 years back.
"In due time Arpa. Let's just wait for the house to finish, it's just mere 2 months left. I don't want to stay in a hotel when we go back home".
Arpa is Araxely 's birth name. She changed her name just like her brother 3 years ago when they decided to sell their home and move abroad to make money. They were from a middle class family so they had to find a way to make a living after their parents died. Araxely was just a year younger than Álvaro.
With the money they have made, they have been building a new place to call home back in Bailey.
They haven't been able to make a new home in all the countries and cities they have been to.
They're very adamant on settling down in their home country after making enough money to live a comfortable life so that people will not just refer to them as "the poor orphans".
"Please help me apply sunscreen on my back". He said passing her the sunscreen bottle. She took it and helped him as he laid on his stomach.
He took the sunscreen and helped her apply on her back too.
"it's their anniversary in a few days. I wish we would do the ceremony with them this year". She sounded very sincere and defeated.
"I know Arpa. All in due time. I promise next year we will fulfill your wish and I wish for nothing else either".
"I miss them". She said.
"Me too, me too but now we're not going to be looking like we're at a funeral at the beach are we?" he tried to shift her mind to something else.
"Uhm, play some music".
He pulled out his phone and put on a Latino reggaeton mixtape. They stood up and started dancing together.
They ran around the beach until they got tired and decided to call it a day and go get ready for the night.
"I'm driving". Álvaro said reaching out his hand for her to give him the keys. She placed the keys on his palm and walked over to the passenger side.
They got in the car and drove back to their apartment. It was pick up hour so there was a lot of traffic which delayed the drive back.
They got back to their apartment a little after 6:30 pm. They still had enough time to get ready for the night.
They both headed to their rooms to take a shower first.
It was now already after 8 and none of them were ready. Their entire closets were spread over their beds still trying to figure out which outfit to go with.
Ara had just finished doing her makeup and tried to get Álvaro to help her with choosing an outfit as he had promised but she found him struggling himself.
They kept fitting everything and standing in front of the mirror just to take it off and try something else.
Around 15 minutes to 9, Álvaro was finally done and went over to help out Araxely.
They finally decided agreed on something just a few minutes after 9 and were ready to leave.
"I'm driving", said Álvaro. Araxely was busy trying to fit her phone in her small purse.
They got in the lift and headed downstairs.
"Good evening sir, madam", hotel stuff greeted them as he got in the lift from the floor beneath theirs.
"Evening". They responded in sync.
The hotel stuff got off on the first floor and they continued to the ground floor, which was the parking.
They got in Álvaro's black Porsche and drove off to the club.
"Who's playing tonight?", she asked him.
"Pérez , it's latín night". He winked.
"Perfecto", she said while checking her reflection on the car rear view mirror and chirping her lips together.
They got to the club around 10:27pm. They didn't have to wait on the long queue that was still outside
They got inside and headed to the VIP section. The waitresses came over to take their drinks as they settled in since the night was still young.
