After we left the café, John asked me, "Is that Andrew Jones?" I nodded. "Yes." "He looks like he regrets it." I gave a small smile. "That's for him to deal with." John looked down at me. "What about you?" I thought about it. "I used to be really dependent on him." "And now?" I looked at the light filtering through the trees. "Now I have my own home, my own path, and my own boyfriend." John smiled. "I like that answer."
