Healing Abilities

Kaleigha was beyond excited until she saw the outfit Tabatha showed up with. It was a yellow strapless dress that was form fitting at the top and flared out and the bottom and it stopped mid-thigh, so it showed off her leg and whoever picked it out did not consider the fact that she had breasts.

Nor had they considered that she’d never worn heels. She never was big on makeup, but she put a little mascara on and a dark brown lipstick. Nothing too much she thought as she pinned her silver hair up into a tight bun.

She almost tripped walking to the door when Zion knocked.

"Wow Kitten you look beautiful." He beamed at her.

"Thank you." She tried smiling but as she looked down at her feet, she rolled her eyes.

"What is it?" Zion said, examining the expression on her face.

"Nothing." She lied, wrapping her arm through his she hadn't made five steps when she nearly fell again. There was nothing sexy about this. She was embarrassed when Zion gave her an amused look, "Trouble Dear?"

"I don't wear high heels much." She confessed. Within seconds he had picked her up and started carrying her toward the dining area.

Then as they passed it, she looked at him confused. He carried her outside and yelled at Kevin,

"Kevin the door." He said, and Kevin came smiling. He reached and opened the car door, and she noticed his huge arms.

She heard a rumble of sorts from her mate, and she turned to look up at his dark eyes. "I know you're looking forward to this and I have a surprise for you, but if you can't control your heat." She blushed deeply. She was better than this, she imagined Azira telling her to get it together b***h. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry my sweet. It won't happen again." She nuzzled his neck and she felt him relax. Kevin opened the car door. "You look nice, Kali Kool Kat." He said and she felt Zion stiffen. She looked up at him and he closed her door. She heard him mumble "don't look at her." He came around the other side and slid in. She looked over at him shaking her head. “Really Zion? He’s your best friend.” She scolded before Kevin could hear. She had yet to see Zion completely morph into his wolf. Yet as Kevin and another guy slid in the backseat she focused on her mate and his many sides. He was cute when he was jealous. She knew not to think of him too much or her mind would begin to think of things that tend to get her in trouble. She wondered how Mrs. Jene and Vanessa were doing. She should call and check-in. She decided she would discuss that with Zion later.

She looked at her surroundings. She noticed most of the houses were small but nice. The schoolhouse was bigger, but she imagined it held other purposes. The further out they got the bigger the houses became. More extravagant which is something you wouldn't have imagined in a small village in the woods.

When they pulled down a dirt road, quite narrow and surrounded by tall trees. She looked over at Zion. “This place is beautiful.”

“Do you mind letting me out? I can walk from here. Her scent is a bit distracting.” The guy that slid in the car with Kevin said making her realize introductions had never been made.

“I will walk with you, Michael. Sorry Kali Kool Kat but that scent of yours in a closed space will get a wolf killed.” Kaleigha looked over at Zion who immediately swerved over to the side of the road bringing the car to a halt.

As soon as the car door slammed Zion pulled off and they drove the rest of the way in silence. They drove about half a mile before coming to a clearing and the house came into view. It was beautiful and almost magical. Her eyes could not get enough of the sight before her. Wow, this place is huge. How the hell do wolves afford this Kaleigha thought? Zion stopped the car and quickly came to offer his arm for assistance. Just looking at the white mansion she felt underdressed, to her it seemed like something out of a fairytale. As they entered the house their names were announced: "Master Zion and his mate Kaleigh have arrived, Beta Kevin has arrived Sir, Gamma and Delta Michael has arrived Sir." We all were led into a huge sitting room. She saw Luna Rochelle speaking with a beautiful blue-eyed woman. She wore a gray dress that was rather plain, but she was so curvy it looked absolutely stunning on her. She had a Pearl necklace with matching earrings and bracelets. A Turpan covered her hair, but it did not take away from her beauty and those piercing blue eyes. Not far from her she noticed what could only be described as a black Adonis my Goddess she thought trying not to drool. She quickly averted her eyes. Around the room, they landed on the most peculiar sight. She couldn't help but walk towards it. "What on earth are you doing here?" She said as her eyes rested on hers.

"I rescued her nearly twenty years ago. I think she has lived a long full life, but she is getting tired now. She only moves to handle her business." Kaleigha was so taken by her eyes. Like they were calling to her. A cat that lives among wolves is peculiar. "One day Lucas and I were hosting an event more like a ceremony we do every year for the unmated wolves. She walked out of the woods and right up to me, fearless! I fell in love with her immediately." Rochelle said "She can be quite vicious though. She really only cares for Lucas and me. She nearly took off one of Zion's fingers once." She reached out to rub her.

"Kaleigha no!" Zion yelled but it was too late. She was rubbing her head and she began to purr with delight. "What is your name Lovely?" She asked her and at that moment their eyes locked and suddenly it was like they were in the room alone. 'Kaleigha I am your keeper Lanunda. I have been waiting for you.'

'Now Dear and It is time for you to embrace your true self.'

'What does that mean to embrace my true self? How am I to do that when half of me is missing?'

'Tst your wolf is not gone Kaleigha she is just resting in the deep recesses of your mind.'

'No, I can't feel her! I have tried everything. She is gone.'

'You are still not fully awake this is why you have been found unworthy. Do you wish to embrace your true self?’

'Yes, yes!' Suddenly her eyes began to glow, and a bright silver light went from her eyes to Kaleigha. They were now in a white room, and she looked up to see a beautiful woman staring down at her. She dropped to her knees and knelt down, bowing her head in respect. "Moon Goddess."

"Hello, My Love."

"You know who I am," Kaleigha asked her. She chuckled and her laugh made Kaleigha smile.

"Yes, I know who you are. The problem is you don’t Dear."

"I don’t understand?" Seriously, Kaleigha thought.

"Kaleigha, I see things you cannot, but the greatness is within you until you see it yourself you are not worthy," Selene explained.

"Worthy of who?" Zion, Kaleigha thought, is she going to take my mate?

"Go little one, find yourself." And then she blew her a gentle kiss and the wind from her breath seemed to blow her through time. Images flashed before her and suddenly she was lying flat on a wooden floor. A woman wearing an apron was walking around a small kitchen.

"Ah, Catori get up off the floor. Go change your clothes before your father arrives." Catori, Spirit that is what her name meant She remembered now. The woman's hair hung past her hips, it was silver, but it was layered in a dark shade of red. The contrast against the silver was lovely. She was tall and beautiful, lighter than Kaleigha, but her face was the same as the one she saw in the mirror every day, mother, Aponi, which meant butterfly. She pointed at Kaleigha, and with so much joy in her heart, she watched herself run giggling into another room. She was happy she could feel it, warmth, love flowing through her body. 'BRACE YOURSELF CATORI' Fear bolted through her. Suddenly the scene changed. Her mother was running to her. She lifted a rug and underneath was a latch she pulled it up. "Stay here and no matter what you hear do not come out!" She was lowered down inside, there was not very much room, but she wasn't afraid because she was not alone. Her mother slid a rug over the latch. They sat quietly, huddled together waiting alone. Then she heard her mother cry out.

"No, stay!" Arms wrapped around her waist trying to hold her in place.

"I have to help," Kaleigha said, pushing her hand away. She climbed out, but she was sure to close the latch and cover the opening again with the rug. She peaked out only to see her mother on her knees. A man had a hand full of her hair and was threatening her. And right before her eyes, he plunged a silver knife into her heart. And she watched the light leave her eyes as she fell to the ground. She screamed and again the scene changed and now she was running her hands up and down her mother's body. Nothing happened, what was she trying to do. Her mother's eyes began to glow 'Run Catori and don't look back, Go!' Her lifeless body again went limp, and she did as told she ran. She ran so long her legs hurt and her chest ached. It began to grow dark, and she was afraid. Then a black cat appeared. Her breath caught in her throat as she watched her approach but then her eyes glowed that familiar bright Silver and she relaxed. She circled around her laying down and she snuggled closer to her. 'Sleep little one you are safe' when the light of day came, she found herself wandering the woods until she came across a camp.

Again, the scene changed. She saw Lanunda following her through life until she reached this very day.

'Catori wake up and take your place' Lanunda spoke.

'I will but Azira'

'Is still a stubborn b***h. Everyone pretends to be so wise. You have been told to try many things but the simplest.' Lanunda said.

'What is that?'

'Sorry.' She hissed, 'have you thought of how she felt. Locked away for all those years. Humble yourself Catori. Now I need you to do something before I leave this vessel.'

' yes'

'She is a beautiful spirit, but she is tired. Give her her youth.' Lanunda purred.

'How am I to do that I have no power'

'PAY ATTENTION CATORI YOU WERE BORN WITH HEALING ABILITIES. WHAT DID YOU THINK YOU WERE TRYING TO DO WITH YOUR HANDS WHEN YOU CAME UPON APONI?' Lanunda snapped.

'Lanunda tell me how'

'Visualize It child and it shall be, feel the heat and let it flow. I shall go now but I am always watching.'

'WAIT! Lanunda, what was her fate? Don’t go, I have so many questions!' Kaleigha called out to her.

'You saw her leave this world.'

'And you know very well it is not her fate I am asking of.' Kaleigha snapped.

'Then say her name, child.' Lanunda hissed. Suddenly an almost transparent orb rose from the cat she held. Floating before her. Waiting for her to speak but she could not find the name and it began to float away. Kaleigha followed it through the open balcony doors "Wait please!" she called out desperately. Then It came back and now when she looked at it she saw herself and she knew. "Chenoa." she whispered.

'Your sister lives.' And with that like a bubble the orb burst and disappeared. Kaleigha stood there frozen for a moment.

She felt a breeze flow through her hair and then she looked down. A small yellow kitten purred in her palm.

"My Goddess, that was amazing." Zion said. She was now surrounded by people.

The blue-eyed beauty could not take her eyes off her. "You have healing abilities far more advanced than anything I have ever seen. You are amazing."

"Are you okay?" Zion was looking her up and down.

Rochelle walked over to her and just stared in awe. Kaleigha handed her the Kitten. "She may be a little more rambunctious now." Kaleigha said jokingly.

"Yeah" Rochelle said, shaking her tearing eyes as she took her pet.

"Amazing." Alpha Xander said as he watched Luna pass the Kitten to Alpha Lucas. He immediately examined the kitten.

"Usually, you are tired after using so much energy, but you are still strong." Kaleigha looked at the lady with the blue eyes.

"How do you know this?" Kaleigha asked her.

She pulled the turban from her head and her silver curls went cascading down her back.

"I am Janora, also of the Silver Crescent moon pack. Hello." Her hair was so radiant it glowed. Kaleigha was in awe at its beauty.
