The silver fire surged.
Then, I heard it. His voice.
"Look at me, Rayne." Reid murmured and my head snapped to him. "Don't look at anything else."
"How are you talking to me right now?" I questioned in confusion.
"It's called a mind link. Your wolf is waking up, Rayne," he calmly explained and my heart picked up its pace.
"Wolf? What wolf? I'm not supposed to have a wolf—"
"Get her!" Luna Selene's voice cut through the shocked gasps. "She is an abomination. Take her out before she kills us all."
"No one will touch, Rayne. She will participate in the Luna Trials. The fire turned silver not black," Reid said, his eyes never leaving mine.
