***Ivy***

I'm not sure how long we ran, I know Brandon was trying to reach out to me as I kept feeling the pressure against my blocks, But I was too hurt to talk to him, The way his mother and Clarrisa spoke so openly about it, They knew I was there in the house and its like they didnt care, I now understand why they both do not like me, and why they treated the way they do,

Maybe I should go stay with my parents for a bit, I need some space and time to really think things over. The thought of leaving Brandon hurts, but he hurt me by not telling me the truth.

When I became tired i made my way back to the house, My clothes had ripped when i shifted, So staying in my wolf form I moved closer to the back door, I see my scraps of clothing laying there, Walking past them just as i was to the door it swung open and Brandon large body filled the door way,

"Ivy," He flew down the steps, dropping to his knees in front of me. His arms circled around my neck. Even in human form, I was small compared to him,

"I was so worried, you wouldn't answer me, God, are you okay?" He pulled back as he began ot look me over, I could see how worried he was by the look on his face. He kept running his fingers through my fur on the side of my head,

"Please, Babe, talk to me."

"Cant shift," Was all I linked him.

I watched his eye widen a bit. "Why are you hurt?" He started to run his hands all over my fur,

"No clothes,"

His hand stopped as he looked, "Oh, hang on," he was up and rushing back into the house, he came back out with a large shirt, clearly it was his by the size of it.

Shifting back, I sat there on the ground, knees to my chest, as my arms wrapped around them. He slipped the shirt over my head, putting my arms through the sleeve holes, and I let it cover my legs. Yep, it was his. When I stand, it's going to go past my knees,

He pulled me to my feet, wrapping an arm around my back, guiding me into the house. He led me towards the living room, I took a glance around, but didnt see anyone.

"Mom went to Jake's for the night," He spoke as he took me over to the sofa, the same one those two sat on as they spoke those words,

He knelt in front of me, cupping my face,

"What happened, Ivy? Dont say nothing cause I felt it, And then you took off, I couldn't find you, I tried tracking you, but you must have masked your scent, Which I didnt know you knew how to do, I can see you are hurting, Please, talk to me,"

Looking off to the side, I could feel the tears wanting to build again, but I know we need to talk, I need to know the truth,

(Did you sleep with Clarrisa?) I signed to him, that was another thing that hurt. He had taken the time to learn so he could communicate with me, but if he was thinking of claiming her as his mate,

He jerked his head back like I had burned him. He shook his head,

"No, I never did, why would you ask that?"

I felt a little relief at his words, but then I wondered if he was telling the truth just to tell me what I wanted to hear.

"Ivy, who said I slept with her?" His brows were pinched as he looked at me,

(Your mother, and her today,)

He stood up, I could see his eyes flashing. His wolf was not happy either,

"Is that why you took off and didnt answer me?"

Nodding, I looked down at my hands on my lap.

"What else did they say?" He was kneeling back in front of me again,

(That you were going to claim her as your mate and you and your brother were going to share her, seeing as you two were twins,)

By the look on his face, Im going to say that was news to him. His breathing was picking up, His hand balled next to my legs,

"Anything else?"

( Just that you weren't going to go to the ball, but at the last minute you went and then came home with me, and it changed everything, and that I messed up the plan you three had.)

He grabbed my hands.

"Babe, listen to me, there was never a plan, nor have we ever talked about us sharing, I do not know what they were thinking, saying that, Jake and i have never spoke about that it have ever shared someone, Yes we are twins but not all twins share a mate, I would never want to do that,"

The tension in my body seemed to leave me at his words, He sounded truthful when he spoke, he looked right in my eye, never glancing away or tripping over his words. His heartbeat was steady,

(Your mom and her do not like me.) I signed once I pulled my hands away from his.

"Im going to fix this, this is not going to be swept under the rug, or what that saying is, Jake will not be happy when he hears this. Yes, the three of us were always close, we grew up in the same pack, and when those two found out they were mates, we were always hanging out together, they knew I was waiting for my mate, that's why I went to the ball."

(Are you happy im your mate? I know my speech is a hurdle, and im sorry if it's not something you signed up for.

He grabbed my hand, making me stop,

"Ivy, I do not care that you cant speak, I love you for you. What happened to you was an accident, and even if you were born that way it would not change how i feel about you, You are my mate my other half, You were given to me but the goddess, I wouldn't care if you were missing a leg, I would still have you next to me,"

Warmth filled my chest as he spoke,

Sliding forward, I wrapped my arms around his neck, burning my face in his neck, breathing in his scent. He took me in his arms instantly, getting up, he pulled me to his lap as he sat on the sofa holding me,

All the hurt I felt earlier slowly faded away as I stayed in my mate's arms. He pepper kisses along my head,

"Please dont ever take off again without talking to me, I was so worried when I couldn't reach you, I was about to go to the Alpha and ask for help to start to search for you,"

His voice quivered a bit when he spoke. Instead of being upset with him, I felt bad for making him worry.

Pulling back, "Im sorry," I mouthed to him,

"No im sorry, I cant believe my mother acted like that, and Clarrissa either, But i will handle it i promise you, And I know Jake is going to blow a gasket when he hears this, He loves you like a sister and to know his mate said those things about us,"

That is true, Jake is a good person, he was the only one who was welcoming to me when I got here, other than the Alpha and Luna.

Jake is always nice when he comes over, and he even went with Brandon and learned to sign with me. He looks at Clarrisa like she hung the moon, so he is going to be hurt when he finds out how his mate talks about his brother.

(What do you think he will do when he hears what they said?)

He shrugged, "Not sure, but I think I'm going to tell Mom she needs to go back to her house, and they are not allowed here unless im here, I will not have them treating my mate like that, never again."
