CHAPTER 2: THE DARK SECRET

Once he was left in the room alone, he felt like he was in home but the news of killing his mother kept haunting him always. So, he thought of resting his own mind first and then thinking of rescuing his own kingdom. After a deep sleep, he woke up suddenly because he saw a scary devil in his dream. This happened in the midnight, but after this situation he woke up to wash his face and once he got up to wash his face, he lost his balance and fell over a cupboard. Suddenly he fell down and he saw a small book under the cupboard, he took the book to see what it is. Then he started to read it, and after reading it he was amazed by its information. That book consisted a dark secret which highly restricted, but this prince thought it’s really a fortune to have a highly restricted book with a dark secret. This book showed him the place where this magic existed, and the book too also described the place as dark cave located in the pacific sea where waters are so rough and with a strong wind. The prince who believed this showed this to the emperor, the emperor who saw this fell into laughter after reading this book. The emperor also said that this book is a fictious story book, so after the prince heard this statement, he thought that there would be no use of asking assistance for this journey.

One morning the prince ran out of the palace by taking a translator with him (in the past the translators were, men who could translate specific language to another specific language) to the harbor. He commanded the translator to ask any captain whose voyage is to the pacific sea. “Oh lord these men here do not voyage to the pacific sea, but except for one man. He is standing right over there (he pointed his finger)” said the translator. “Alas, please go ask him can he take one more person aboard” said the prince, “Ok my lord I will ask him now,” said the translator. “Captain, I have person who is interested in voyaging to pacific seas. Will you take him?” asked the translator, “Ok, I will take him how much will you pay me?” asked the captain of the ship. “Oh lord the captain said that if you pay him, he will take you aboard.” Said the translator, the prince replied I will pay the captain two gold coins”. The deal was agreed and the prince went aboard, once the ship started moving the crew on board waved to the people who were waving their hands when they were leaving. Since the captain does not know that the outsider onboard is a prince, so he asked in a normal way “Where do you want to go lad? “The prince replied “Take me to the place where the map directs” and the prince handover the book which had the location of the mysterious location.

After having a clear observation of the map Captain of the ship said “Lad I know where the location is but it will take about 1 week, because we travel on seas to trade items.”, “Ok “replied the prince. After six days of travelling o the seas, stopping at different island and trading goods, finally the ship came to the place where the prince asked to. The captain and the crew were shocked to see the place, because the place was a huge cave surrounded by the sea and with huge rocks surrounded around it. The prince didn’t seem shocked at all, but he was confused of how to get into the cave. So, he asked the captain to take the ship closer to the cave so that he can get into the cave, but the captain replied “Lad we can get a little closer to the cave, because if we take the ship closer to the cave this ship would be wrecked. So, I guess you try to forget this idea and think on something else”, after hearing this reply the prince replied “Never mind take the ship as closer as you can I will try my best to get into the rock, and I will not give up on this mission”, after hearing this the captain was amazed to see how brave the prince was. So, he took the ship closer to the cave, and the prince jumped out of the ship in to the sea and started to swim. After an hour the prince came ashore and he started to walk to the cave. He walked so fast that his eargness of finding this magic was so great, so after he entered the cave, he heard strange voice.

“Who dares to take the magic sword?”, the prince got startled after hearing this voice. The prince who had a confusion of someone’s being in this place spoke out, “Who is talking to me? Who is here?” and suddenly a white cracked face man came out from the dark. This strange man wore a black old ragged cloak with torn boots and dark long trousers, his hand was pale white with over grown nails. This appearance made the prince shiver, but after a few seconds the price didn’t feel afraid. “Who are you? Why are you here?” asked the prince, “That’s the same question I have for you too. As a reply to your answer, I am the protector of the magic that exist here, and I think you are the person who came in search of the magic. Am I right?” asked the man in his monstrous voice. “How do you know that I’m the person who came in search of the magic that exist here?” asked the prince, “I’m a priest who was chosen to protect this magic unless it was given to someone. So, if anyone entered this cave, I know that the specific person has come in search of the magic, because no one possesses the location of this cave and you’re not the only one who had visited this place,” said the priest. This explanation made the prince wired, “Ok now where is the magic, I want to take it” said the prince, the priest who knew where the magic existed replied “I know where the magic exists but only brave and fearless people can take it”, the prince who felt that the priest was trying to send him away by giving such an answer said “Ok ill come with you show me where it is “. The priest lead the way to magic through a dark passage, and while walking the prince had some questions about the magic so the prince asked “What’s the magic about?”, the priest replied “The magic in not a plain magic, actually it’s a sword with magic” , the prince who was curious about this asked” Ok what’s special about the sword?” and the priest replied “ This sword was made many centuries ago by the great French blacksmith ‘Jean Pascal Lafleche’. This man made this sword using gold. This was built so strong that it could even pierce to metal. So, a king named King Atkin from Aiteoniat kingdom bought this sword. He was such a strong king that enemies couldn’t resist fighting with him. So because of this, this king bought this sword and he said ‘Great people deserves great things in life’, but one day during a war with one of the most powerful kingdom the ‘Oceatoborg’ kingdom, the king was badly injured that he couldn’t continue the war further so the king escaped the war with his ships. After sailing so far, his ship crashed to this place and he survived to make it to the cave. So, the next day he made out through this passage and found a big rock, he took this sword and casted a magic spell to it and he pierced the sword in to the rock. Before you come to this land many other great people had come to pull this sword out but none became successful”, the prince who heard this tale while walking through the passage felt amazed. Later the prince and the priest came to the rock., the prince could see the sword shining and the rock glistening. So, the prince ran on to the top of the rock to grab the sword, and suddenly he could pull the sword out. The prince asked the priest “you said that this sword was not taken for centuries and many great people couldn’t take this out. You were joking right?”, but the amazed priest said” I didn’t say a joke, but you taking the sword was exceptional. I didn’t tell you something which is important, would you please turn and see what is behind you”, the prince turned to see what was behind him and he could only see was human skulls and bones. This made the prince terrified, then he looked back to see what was happening and he saw blood coming out from the priest’s mouth but this made him no sense. The priest who saw the prince was terrified said “I said you many great people have come here to take this sword but I haven’t said you that they returned to their homeland. Actually, none of them returned to their homeland, because I have eaten every single one of them and I’m not a priest I’m monster who can shift body shapes and I’m not the one who protect the sword, I’m a monster who live in this cave. Ha Ha Ha..”, the prince felt like running out from this place as fast as he can. So, he started to run as fast as he can through the passage and back to the entrance of the cave, but after he came to the entrance of the cave, he had no chance of escaping the cave because the whole cave was surrounded by the rough pacific sea. The monster kept on running behind him until he came to the entrance too, once he came to the entrance, he started to get closer and closer to the prince. The prince who did not know how to use the sword kept on dodging the monsters attack, but unfortunately one of the monster’s attacks sent him flying on to one side of the cave. The prince was wailing with pain and with the sword with the hand he ran towards the monster with sword and cut him into half. He was shocked to see what has he done but also pleased that the monster is dead.

Back in Saudi Arabia the emperor Kaif Siddique got to know about the disappearance of the prince and started searching the prince. Later, he got to know that one of his own translators has helped the prince’s runaway. He translator showed the captain and the ship which is always at the Saudi harbor to the emperor. The emperor asked the captain to show the way to where the prince went and he also commanded his army to bring seven fleets of ship behind him. After many hours the emperor came to the place with his ship and he saw the prince waving his hand with his sword on the other hand. So, the emperor ordered his guards to take the prince and they obeyed his orders. Later the prince found himself at his own room.
