Celine’s P.O.V
I arrived at school early, hoping to practice basketball for a bit. I felt a deep sense of frustration, knowing I wouldn’t earn good marks for basketball; I’m just too short and will hardly help the team.
I sighed angrily, then looked at the ball. “You’re way too big, and honestly, it’s a boring game.”
A mocking voice called out to me, “But if you give it a chance and learn to love it, it could be a good activity, even a great hobby. Now come on, there’s practice on the court. Your first training is with me.”
In the large training field, veiled by the drifting dust of the day, everyone stood in tense silence, the sounds of light combat echoing through the air. Tall pine trees surrounded the area, their leaves dancing in the wind, and the sky was a clear shade of blue.
