January 2017Alessandra began her new life in Paris slowly but resolutely. She went to work every morning, Sunday excluded, and two afternoons a week; often, after the hospital she would stop at the Médecins Bénévoles offices to help out, and she’d started making a few friends there.
She didn’t know Paris at all, but for now she didn’t feel the need to explore this big city. She had no idea if her life would continue here indefinitely or not, but she thought that fate would decide for her.
